Main differences between High Church Anglican & Catholic Church?

I find high Anlicanism quite a bit higher than pretty well any RC. You need a gas mask in All Saints' Margaret St, for instance.

Do high Anglicans believe that bread and wine become body and blood of Christ? Am sure there's a word for that but can't remember what it is . That's something I thought was a difference between High Anglican and catholic.

Transubstantiation (sp?) high Anglicans do believe in this tho and saints and praying to the virgin etc. they do try and out catholic the Catholics at times with the bells and smells.

I honestly didn't know until I read it on here in another thread that some Anglicans believed in transubstantiation, I had always assumed that they didn't.

If that is the case then it would seem to me that the main difference is the leadership of the church. I understand that that was the catalyst for forming the Church of England by Henry Viii so that the church in England was not under the leadership of the Pope.

It is fascinating to think about how the C of E operates as it seems to be able to encompass a very wide spectrum of belief in what seems to be relative harmony.
