Christians - what do you think "Eternal Life" means?

TBH i don't think I fully understand what it means but I know I'll be in heaven with my saviour and wonderfully happy and home...

I hope there is an afterlife in which case it will be eternal. And if it does exist then I think it will be better than this life. That's as much as anyone can say, isn't it?

Interesting, everyone thinks of it as something future. Yet 1 John implies it is something that is now, not in the future, not in the 'after life'. Any comments?

DH was snoring, woke me up, I couldn't get back to sleep, this is pretty normal for me I have been known to go shopping at 4am!

dd 14 says that this is what eternal life is - when we die we go to heaven and live with God forever, where there will be no fighting, peace and harmony, no hate and hurt.

Sounds good to me and for me its simply that we have life with Jesus forever, in his company and all of above as dd says.

marybs at the 4a.m shopping do you catch up in the day somehow? somehow i think not!
