It's been a good year for science and rational enquiry. Expanding our knowledge of the universe and ourselves. New planets out there and medical advances closer to home. I didn't even know we could replace hands. You can't get that done at Loudes.

We've cured mice of blindness so there's hope for those in the nursery rhyme yet. Not to mention all those struck blind for committing sins.

I understand there are plans for a garden on the moon. We could call it Eden now that the claim on on the first one has been downgraded to metaphor.

I can't wait till its all over, frankly. It embarrassing watching people clambering over each other to buy disgusting amounts of food. In a few days the Internet, roads and postal system will all be useable again.
