Hi

We are practising catholics abd I really want my daughter to go to a catholic school.
However school is highly oversubscribed. Last year last intake was under priority 2 which is practising children.

Im in the parish boundaries of the school but on the edge.

Do u think there is a tiny chance to get accepted?

I know...
A silly question which depends on many diffetent factors....

Are you active in the church, jaabaar?

I know you are practising, but are your faces known within the church?

Is the school in question the nearest Catholic school to you? Is the church you attend in the same parish as the school you wish your DC to attend?

You haven't mentioned whether it's a primary school or secondary, but I assume it's a primary school?

No I'm not active in the church but we attend Sunday mass and priest signed form confirming we are practising. It is the nearest catholic school and we are within the parish boundaries. It is a primary school.

Last year they submitted the last children under priority 2c (practising children). What does the c mean?

Thanks again.

jaabar are you praying for your child to get in. Make a novena to St Joseph.

It is such a stressful time. Hope all works out.

Me and my mum are praying for help to obtain catholic education for my DD. Thank you, I will make a novena to st Joseph. I appreciate your guidance.

If you are worried about the admission criteria and what 2c means then look at the admissions policy for the school and if that doesn't make things any clearer go and ask them.

It is also worth looking back a few years to see how many children got in from previous years. It might be that last year was an unusual one. You don't know until you get more information and that may help put your mind at rest.

I guess there is no way in finding out except to wait and see. What is meant to be will be.

Thank you for your answers. Xxx
