favourite verse from a religious book...a quote...poem that you'd like to share?

And the reason for you choice?

I'd like to quote the whole book, but this is the bit that really got me. Its from a book called "nice girls don't change the world" by Lynne Hybels

"A third thing I have learned about a good woman is that she sings her song even if she's terrified. Whatever she's called to do, she does it,even if she's so scared her voice breaks , her hand shakes and her stomach aches. She doesn't let fear stop her"

I liked this quote because I bought this book just before I went for selection for Reader training. I bought it, not knowing anything about the book, apart from what I read on the cover.

I'm also going to quote this from the same book "Never doubt that a community of thoughtful, committed women, filled with the power and the love of God, using gifts they have identified and developed, and pursuing passions planted in them by God - never doubt that these women can change the world".

Does the above sound familiar?

Its not a very long book, takes about 15 mins to read, but its such an amazing and inspirational book, and not at all 'heavy'
