Mrs Storey?

This article is bothering me.

Just a technical question, or maybe not just a technical question, but why is the new Bishop of Meath and Kildare called Mrs Storey in this article when her husband, who is not a bishop, is given the honorific Rev? Is it normal to call men who are Church of Ireland bishops 'Mr'? I'm not a member of the CoI and this may all be normal, but I smell a rat in the reportage.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, she may have asked to be referred to as Mrs Storey.

But I agree with you, it looks rather as if the reporter/subeditor said 'Two Rev Storeys in the same, erm, story? Too confusing! Let's call this one Mrs Storey and then we can call the other one Rev Storey.' It's odd, given the context, that they didn't go for Rev and Mr Storey. Or even Most Reverend and Rev Storey.
