Why isn't there a legend about the sponge that was used to give Christ a drink on the cross? We have the spear and the cross obs but why not the sponge? Really curious.

Maybe it's just not glam enough for some theosophical historians. Or Dan Brown. But still it's been intriguing me since I thought about it.
Just watched The Last Crusade. The bit at the end with all the grails? The sponge of Christ. What would that look like? Not one of the bright and scrubby ones from boots I bet.
