Hello,

My DS 10 months old, is being baptised on Saturday. I haven't had time to think about choosing a reading. Does anyone have any ideas? Does it have to be from the bible?

I've asked my godson, who is 9, to do the reading so maybe should be quite simple? I have no idea. There has been a major flood in our home so I haven't had time to think about it, I'm panicking now!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

Luke 18 verses 15-17 about accepting the kingdom of heaven as little child does.

Hi OP..I would ring your Parish Priest so that he is happy with what you choose or will help you choose. I haven't seen anyone doing a reading at a baptism.. only been to ceremonies after the general Sunday Mass where the priest read. Did you get any from your preparation class?
