Suggestions for Christian CDs/books for young people

Hi, l need to get a music CD for a. youg person who is a huge One Direction fan. I need a Christian band who have a bit of a similar sound if possible?

I also need some ideas for Christian books for 11, 12. 13 year old l?ads who are into football aand x~box/PS3 type activities?

Any recommendations gratefully received.

DD is a 1D fan, and she likes stuff like Hillsong United and zoegirl for a more girl-band feel.

I'd be interested to hear of book recommendations too. dd has a few but they are fairly American (the 'Lily' series' etc), not sure what there is around for this age.

Alister McGrath did a childrens book which seemed very good, I got it for my 13yo daughter. She's a big fan of the group Empire Nation, which is a Christian band.
