OliviaMumsnet · 13/03/2013 19:17

Thank you all very much

OliviaMumsnet · 13/03/2013 22:55

This is lovely thank you all.
I just keep thinking about her and what she must be going through - but these thoughts and prayers are amazing.
Feel so helpless for my lovely lovely friend and her beautiful beloved boy - this is all I could think of to do - get some positivity the only way I know how.

Sorry not to update more - no news is good news we hope - think that the plan is to keep him sedated until tomorrow.

OliviaMumsnet · 14/03/2013 18:42

Thanks again for all of this.
Have heard just now that he is breathing with minimal assistance so still keeping him in thoughts and prayers.

OliviaMumsnet · 15/03/2013 09:15

Thanks all for this
Have heard that he he slept with his Mummy in the same bed, free of support and sedatives, so breathing by himself.

Think he is not yet out of the woods but it certainly sounds like he is heading in the right direction.

@ChaosTrulyReigns

Only just seen this, sorry, OhEl, glad he's making progress, poor little mite.

Have you been able to see his mom? How's she and the rest of the family bearing up?

Sending strength, thoughts and positivity to all the family.

No haven't been able to see Mom as yet, she lives 100 miles away.
Wondering what would be helpful to post to her.

OliviaMumsnet · 15/03/2013 12:45

The fabulous Woolly Hugs are sending a blanket - and I will tell her Juggling yes.

OliviaMumsnet · 16/03/2013 13:46

Graze boxes already en route -
Think he is still doing well

OliviaMumsnet · 17/03/2013 21:14

All these positive vibes must have done something - he is doing really well and back at home with a long list of phone numbers to call if anything amiss.
Flowers to all of you

@SandWitch

Olivia - make sure your friend knows to try and have some time for herself in the next few days. I know from bitter experience that there is often a real 'low' when the relief sets in and the panic is over. It is as if your body has been hanging on so tight in the stress that when it lets go, it lets everthing fall with a bump. She may need your kind words and 'hugs' - even if from 100 miles away as much now as she did last week.

Did I mention I love my job today?Grin

Flowers to each and every one of you and another big mwah for MummyMellie and Lazarus
