Hi

I'm hoping someone can help me name a version of 'The Lords my Shepherd'. It's my mums funeral next week and I know she wanted this but not the traditional Crimond version, or the Vicar of Dibly one! The one she wanted is quite quick and lively and the 2nd line of tune is the same as the first one. Many thanks if you can make sense of this thread or offer me any help. I've tried you tubing it but not got very far.

Brother james air, absolutely lovely tune.

I think that's the one you want. THere are loads of different settings but I think that's best known Crimond alternative

Hope Your Mums funeral can be a celebration of her life and go as well as these things possibly can do. Have a (())

Thanks for looking, it is the Brother James air I'm after. Mum lived life to the full, right up to the end. She was a much loved mum and gran and a generally spectacular woman.

The Stuart Townend version - The Lord's my shepherd I'll not want.....and I will trust in you alone.... is lovely.

Sorry for your loss. The 23rd Psalm is the perfect choice for a funeral- it will give your mum a good send-off.
