so I moved house about 2 years ago, I moved to a normal house, in a normal cul de sac with normal neighbours... everything was well, normal. I then had my daughter, she was born at 32weeks with no real reason, she had folded ears, a perfect gorgeous face long fingers and toes, when she finally came out of hospital (5 weeks later) I took the opportunity to do as much as possible, I went to a couple art fairs and things like that, on 3 occasions I had woman and a man come over to me and ask to see my daughter... (who was in a baby sling, as she was still really tiny you couldn't see her) I presumed they knew she was a girl from the colour of my sling, anyway all 3 on separate occasions said she was a fairy from another would and I should watch out as she's extremely sensitive and speaking to others from other worlds... obviously I was freaked out as a new mother and walked off... I didn't believe in anything like that AT ALL!! over the last year I've found her sat up at night waving and talking across the room, my mum has also noticed. She's also been able to draw... rather well (since 9 months old) she points at things that I see as nothing.

Now, to me and my family, my sister got soaking wet in the kitchen, no water anywhere... litterly just her soaking wet, lights turn on on there own, tv turns itself up really loud, the fire alarm has been going off at 3.41am exactly on some night's (now taken out batteries), on rare occasions I'm nearly 100% sure I've seen black figures walk into my daughters room...!! Also most annoying of all things go missing, constantly!! And then I get very angry and almost instantly they are found on the window ceil in the lounge ( which is always empty) .. I have had a vicor in who says my child has accidently called bad spirits into my house... the victor was useless so I then had 2 random spiritual ladies come to my house, they did not know each other at all. One came in having writtendown so much about my daughter and about my house (which was all correct)!! I'd never met her before, the other came on a different day and asked me if I had a book called "I love my mum" ... I do, she told me an angel protecting my daughter from whats in my house reads her this book when the bad spirits try to talk to my daughter... this book was in the book cabinet out of sight can I add!! They both said to me these bad spirits had come to my daughter to be heard becAuse she could hear them, they both pin pointed where I'd seen these black figures, they also said these things aren't poltigists but are like gremlins from the fairy world, this linked to what I'd previously been told!!!!!! Anyway these woman have space cleared my house, things are better but not 100% ... I still am not convinced, does shit like this actually happen?? Sometimes I think what a load of shit... but it's otherwise unexplainable!!!

Anyone heard of anything like this? Or anyone experienced anything like this? Or it just madness!!! My dp thinks it's total tosh although he's been there for most of it and has seen things too!!!

It is just madness

HeartMyDd · 20/08/2012 18:25

And that is the shortened story!!!!

LynetteScavo · 20/08/2012 18:31

I have no idea...just marking my place.

technodad · 20/08/2012 21:27

I think you need to get more sleep.

technodad · 20/08/2012 21:32

To answer your question "does shit like this actually happen"

No

Have you done a carbon monoxide test in your house lately?

Thistledew · 20/08/2012 21:40

I have very long fingers and have done since I was a baby. The only thing that strangers ever consistently asked my parents is whether I played the piano.

The point is- does it matter? What is important is the person she grows up to be. It is far more important for her to be a special human being, who achieves things in life by working hard and being kind and helpful to other people, than it will be for her to achieve things through having 'special powers'.

HeartMyDd · 20/08/2012 22:06

I never said I was 100% sure... I'm just saying what I've been told, by a number of people. Maybe people need to stop being so self absorbed :-/ ...

thistledew ... were have I said "special powers" ?? Obviously it's MORE important for a child (any child) to hard working, kind and helpful.... it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

My only question here was basically are these people having me on??? Not what is important in a child thistledew.

OP posts:
technodad · 20/08/2012 22:12

Of course these people are having you on. Why do you even need to ask that question?

They are probably casing the joint while spinning you a yarn. Did any of your things that have gone missing disappear when they visited???? Sad

HeartMyDd · 20/08/2012 22:16

No didn't disappear when they were here!!! I live near a place called glastonbury... most people have heard of it, havnt lived here long, everyone around here is abit odd to say the least , everyone seems to say/believe such different things around here... good job I'm moving back to bournemouth soon lol!!!

OP posts:
KlickKlackknobsac · 20/08/2012 22:24

Has to be a wind up.
Either OP or the people in your house.
Nothing really concrete has happened.
Just ignore it and enjoy Bournemouth.

JaquelineHyde · 20/08/2012 22:29

Bloody hell that is freaky, it reminds me of paramormal activity crossed with old fashioned fairy tales.

Good idea for a book!

HeartMyDd · 20/08/2012 22:32

Most definitely won't be writing a book, think I'll just go back to where I came from where everyone and everything was sane lol!!!!

OP posts:
solidgoldbrass · 20/08/2012 22:37

There's a lot of woo-peddling wankers in Glastonbury, that's why you are getting a higher-than-normal proportion of strangers making stupid remarks.

Haven't you got a wanker of a partner that you're about to dump? Maybe he's the one moving your stuff around.

HeartMyDd · 20/08/2012 22:50

Oh my goodness.... solid ... didn't sodding think of that!!! Fricking hell it probably is, he's that sort of dick that would do that in a situation where he knows what my plans are :-/ .... I actually not long ago told him I'd posted this on mn and he laughed, perhaps thats why!!

OP posts:
HeartMyDd · 20/08/2012 22:52

lol can't stop laughing now.... hmmm I'm not very good at stupid games if this is one of his!!

OP posts:
LynetteScavo · 21/08/2012 09:45

When I first read the OP, I thought "I bet she lives in ones of those area where people are are into woo and have lots of arts fairs."

Why was your sister wet, though? Everything else is easily explainable.

And what kind of vicar says your child has called bad spirits into the house?!

HeartMyDd · 21/08/2012 17:36

I have no idea why she was wet, it was all over her head and shoulders!! it was a Christian vicor :-/
... I'm not religious nor spiritual, it was one of my clients from work that sent the vicor round lol!!

OP posts:
Schlock · 21/08/2012 17:41

I was doubtful of two strangers telling you that your baby was a fairy child until you said you lived in Glastonbury, I can completely believe that might happen there Grin

You need to get those smoke detectors sorted, they're important.

AmberLeaf · 21/08/2012 17:45

Yes put the batteries back in the smoke alarms!

Disregard the woo people and enjoy your baby.

beginnersluck · 21/08/2012 18:01

I am worried about your smoke detector!

LynetteScavo · 21/08/2012 18:07

Didn't you ask your sister why she was wet? Confused

springydaffs · 21/08/2012 18:47

I totally believe in spiritual goings-on. You just have to be sure what side you're on....

I'm surprised the vicar was crap if he lives in Glastonbury tbh - he ought to get his act together. There is so. much. stuff. going on in Glastonbury. < Shock

years and years (and years) ago, I was driving home from Newquay after a teenage hol. We stopped off somewhere in the dark and got out of the car and I said, in amazement, "where is this ??" because there was such a dark vibe about the place. I'm not that tuned into stuff like that but, oh my, it was palpable. "Glastonbury", somebody said.

I have friends who live there and they're all into the woo, but also are the first to say that there are a lot of charlatans in Glastonbury. All that fairy shit - take no notice.

Get your vicar in again though, or get another one.

Glad you're moving to Bournemouth Wink

chipmonkey · 22/08/2012 00:01

HeartMy, when you say a man and a woman came up to you on three separate occasions and said your dd was a fairy baby, were they the same couple each time or different couples?

Why don't you ask around and see if other Mums have had the same thing said you them? You may find that they say it to lots of people!
