I'm a member of a small village church (CofE), and have been a churchwarden for a year. I've enjoyed doing it it, but my husband has taken early retirement and wants to travel. Would it be unreasonable of me to resign as churchwarden after only a year's duty, I think it's expected that I do at least 3 years.
