Prayers for two small children

Could anyone who feels able to, say some prayers for two little children E and M? Their father died very suddenly two years ago, and their mother was then diagnosed with aggressive cancer and died last week. Her funeral mass is on Friday and I've just seen from the order of service that the little boy has chosen He's got the whole world in his hands for the offertory hymn. I have no idea how anyone will be able to keep it together, it was terribly sad enough with their father's death but now their mother as well So please could you say a few words for them and especially on Friday morning? Thanks. [sob]

That is a very sad story. I don't pray but I do feel for them and do believe they will get the help they need. If a positive needs to be found it is that they are young and they will forget the pain more easily. I hope they end up ok.

How terrible, them poor, poor children,life is so cruel and unfair.I will include them in my prayers.

Foghorn - you're right that their age will help hopefully. I lost my mum when I was about the age of the little boy and while it's become much harder now that I'm a mum myself (I realise much more how I wish she was here!) at the same time it's become part of my life and easier to live with.
