In the genre Batman pretty much always wins. Spidey is a bit of loser. In the comics that makes him a better character.

Batman is not technically a super hero as he has no superpowers. Both Spiderman and Superman do, and don't need to rely on gimmicks, like Batman does, so naturally either of them would win.

This is something my dh and I have discussed at length. Sadly.

Indeed Batman onl (y gets super powers quite rarely. But he and Spiderman are different from most since they are actually very smart Peter Parker is a chemistry student). Superman in particular is a bit of a bimbo, would have voted for George Bush, all that truth, justice and the American way guff.

But Batman has a vast array of gadgets, and is a billionaire, he fights fair until he starts to lose then uses weaponry up to and including nerve gas.

Spidey has heart though!

It's true that Batman has no super powers but he's not a geeky chemistry student like Spiderman.

How many chem student do you know who can fight?? He has difficulty defeating every enemy he's ever come across. He has no arch enemy because they are all a mission for him. He'd have trouble stealing candy from a baby-then again, he could always bore his opponents to death!!!!

He can't be that smart if he hasn't figured that one out yet!!!

OK, im sorry about this but if anyone who is backing batman on this one they havn't thought it thought it threw!! (i know my spelling sucks doesn't mean im wrong!! grr...!!)

As spiderman has such lightning reflex's and if not equal but greater intellegance to 'Bruce im a nonse wayne'... he would easily win.
I mean ffs...his web has the strength to restrain Dr. Octopus and his bionic arms for a good deal of time, seeing as Batman would not see this attack coming (no super cool spidey sense) he would be caught in the web and beaten to death by spiderman with perfect ease. Like a god damn belt could be good for anything...

Yep, definately batman to win! Fell anyone backing spidey is going down the bfalse path of superpowers- batman is bigger, has a hold load of brooding dead parent baggage/ must fight evil conviction, has many willing assistants and knows how to accessorize. Besides Spidey won't see him coming if he gets into one of his "but what does this mean..." rhetorical conversations with himself!
