No news at the moment since the last update.

I will post it again here in case anyone missed it tho.

"Aillidh update: slight improvement in xray. Bronchoscope and lavage done. She is comfortable and sedated. Plan is to leave her on vent a few days and find out what is going on inside her lungs with results of bronchoscope/lavage. Please, please keep praying. Your prayers, thoughts, vibes and anything are keeping her and us going. We are buoyed by everyone's strength and hope. Her grandmother is here now and her maternal grandparents will be here on Monday."

I was another one thinking of Aillidh during the reading in church this morning. What an appropriate liturgy for today. I prayed for her as hard as I could.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 01/07/2012 19:28

Keep on fighting Ailidh.

Xx

Vev · 01/07/2012 19:33

Keeping fighting little one, prayers, hope and strength to you all.

Calyx · 01/07/2012 19:36

I've just read the threads and am in tears here and praying as hard as I can.

God will hear and his will be done, please God let your will be that Ailidh's lungs clear and work better again and that her family and friends have the strength to help her through this bad patch. Let her get well and strong again to enjoy your world here with the people who love her xx

BumpingFuglies · 01/07/2012 19:41

Aillidh, your God is with you and we are all praying for you. However many steps you make take, forward or back, your God is with you and your family.

My love and prayers reach out to you. x

I'm thinking of you all day Ailidh, Expat and family. Each time I send positive thoughts across the water, willing you to find the strength to pull through. I imagine all the prayers, vibes and positive thoughts reaching you, from all over the world, each one giving you a nudge to say 'We are here for you', each one giving you a little more strength, willing you to carry on.

I too thought of Aillidh during today's Gospel. Paying hard for health for her, strength for her family and friends in their vigil and compassion and understanding from her doctors and nurses.

psychomum5 · 01/07/2012 20:00

apologies for being absent today....have seen that there have been updates and thankyou all so much.

have been at a family event. My parents-in=law golden wedding that I was helping to cater for.

latest update from leigh...

Leigh Kinnaird
She is holding her own. This is all we can hope for for now. What you can do is to pray her lungs heal, quickly, and that she engrafts/stem cell transplant works. I'm going to bed so I can be up early. Please pray that the night heals Aillidh. This child has so much left here to do. We must be strong and confident.xxx
