One of the scariest things for me was a year after becoming a Christian we (me and DH - who became a Christian about 4 months after me) were asked to stand up at our church's annual dinner to share our testimony. It was so scary but what was really liberating was putting something on facebook about it (we live in Australia, so a lot of friends and family didn't really know). It was lovely to get messages from people encouraging us.

So I agree, tell people - it feels really good :)
