Lost baptism certificate

I stupidly mislaid DDs certificate of baptism. Easy to replace in the UK, she was done in Oman and the church aren't answering their phone.
Would it be possible to get our PP to do her again? He has seen it, as has her school since she is at an RC primary and being confirmed in two weeks time.
He is not the most approachable man and I will have to ask him to write a reference for her.
HELP!

Asking the obvious here but have you checked with her school to see if they took a photocopy to put with her Confirmation form/documents?

I did think of that, her school is closed for half term and I need to send a copy to the ones I am applying to.

Our primary school keeps the baptism lines for the whole time the children are at the primary school, but just realised the school is closed. I'm not sure how it would work with parish priest, my sister was born abroad and I remember there being a huge kerfuffle when she was younger and the school had mislaid them.

To be honest I doubt the pp would get it organised before the school reopened anyway.

You can ask for a conditional baptism, along the lines of "IF you are not baptised, then I baptise you... etc".

OK, school opens again on Monday. I am almost certain that they'll have a copy of it.
I was so proud of taking it round the world safely. only to lose the bloody thing on the third time it is needed.
