Prayers for Aillidh.

Just wanted to start a prayer thread for expat's little girl, Ailidh, who has been very ill with leukaemia. Just wanted to show our support and pray that her treatment works and that she is back in action very, very soon!

Just adding myself to the huge, strong, powerful shadow of support sat right next to you in hospital as you wait.

She has been in theatre for about half an hour now. I consented for bone marrow aspirate and trefine as well, so her consultant can get a better idea of what is happening with her graft/transplant. Morphology from aspirate comes back quickly, but chimerism test and results of trefine will take longer.

Thanks for praying for her, all, she's quite ill and needs prayers, vibes, etc.

she's out. they got good samples for the lab, her anatomy is fine, the bone marrow aspirate did show some neutrophils but she is still spiking. so CT on her head/face to rule out sinus infection as well.

She is back on ward and drinking, have just seen her. :) Looks terribly ill still.

She was just about to go for a CT scan when I left.
