I gave up red wine (I don't really drink any other alcohol, apart from champagne)

I lost 10lb. [bushock]

I am cooking some lamb shanks in Wine, so am having my first glass in 40 days.

I gave up all booze and chocolate. It was soooo boring. After the first 2 weeks, I was all 'this is great' but after that I thought it was so dull not opening a bottle with dh and having that nice sociable drink with him or with friends, my mum etc.. It has made me realise I really like having a glass of wine!

I lost nothing. I didn't need to lose weight, but I am still Hmm.

However, I'm glad I did it and my children were very virtuous with their giving up of chocolate. My youngest even gave away the bottom of his strawberry Cornetto to his friend as it had chocolate at the bottom!

I am having my 2nd Southern Comfort and have eaten a Creme Egg!

I gave up all booze and even managed a party which would have been much enhanced by alcohol.

I put on 2lbsHmm

I have done alcohol and chocolate before with no trouble so this year gave up bread. It has been a real struggle! I have allowed myself a slice of bread each Sunday as I found it so hard (technically they're feast days so not a sin Grin) The whole of Lent my tummy has been "off" and I have not felt any of the benefits people claim from cutting bread out and I have put on weight as I've been constantly bloody starving without it.

I am disheartened as I always think, the only reason I weigh 9.5 stone and not 8.5, is because of my wine habit. Apparently not.

I gave up bread, so today I had a bacon sandwich and a hot cross bun. I am SO bloated now, it feels horrible. But, it did taste very good! Grin

Gave up delicious coffee and succeeded, feel so much better that I think I will ditch it altogether. She says!

We gave up crisps/snacks and managed. My pickled onion monster munch were awesome today though. We did alcohol a couple of years back and this year wasn't as hard as that. We've, as ever, lost no weight with it might have something to do with the two chalet board holidays though unfortunately.
