I am being officially received into the Catholic church at the Easter Vigil, it's been a long journey to this point and I have had a fab year with my Journey I Faith group.

I can't wait - Saturday is going to be so special.

Congratulations and welcome. Smile

Oh, that's great! Congratulations. I took my first Catholic communion three weeks ago and it was wonderful. I was baptised a Catholic, but not raised as one, so I've found my way there eventually, at the age of 42 Grin

Keep in touch with your faith group too, you'll have made some good friends I expect Smile

Ah it has taken me until the age of 46! I am attending a Reconciliationn service this afternoon with my Mum although I did a Reconciliation on Sunday. I went in and saw our local and very funny, cool n relaxed priest......and I just laughed - had nothing to say but have thought of something I can discuss this afternoon.

My son is doing his first Holy Communion this year and being baptised as well. All happening for us this year.

Congratulations and a warm welcome from me too. I was baptised a Catholic and been on lots of long and winding roads on my journey, but always found my way back !
Best wishes for Saturday.

Congratulations and best wishes. Lifer here but the experience of seeing people baptised, confirmed, etc. at all points of their lives is an inspiration to me and a challenge to keep on trying my best.

Congratulations!

I was received into the Catholic Church 15yrs ago at Easter and it was really special. So has every Easter Vigil been special since :) I know co-ordinate our RCIA group for our parish and still keep learning and growing from being part of the group.
