Hi again Melanie - Just found this on eBay which may lend some weight to my theory about the Girl Covenanters and Jucos when formed may have used the same shield shape as the Boys? Be great if someone was able to confirm or explain the reason behind the two different shaped shields being used!

The boys were this ordinary sheild shape

The boys' were the ordinary shield shape and the girls' with the double dip at top. Jucos were junior covenanted. Interesting that you founs that badge on ebay. Do let me know any other findings.

Yep in hemel hempstead covananters we had 33 boys n I became a leader! Loved the inter town football games 7 a side on a full pitch the games nights and the camping!

That is interesting John. I was the other end of the South West Plymouth Wolseley and later Plymouth Plymstock. Both groups begun by my parents - Jooan and Harold Tucker. They first helped in a group in Weymouth before we ć Plymouth in 1962. I still feel I owe so much to copies as it gave me such s good foundation and I look to Covie camp when I recomitted my life to Christ. That was Brixham camp.
