Can you have the same godparent for all your dc?

I have just had a dd, and have 2 other dc, ds 6 and dd 5. My ds's godmother is a very dear friend and would so love her to be dd's godmother too. Is this a bad idea? Would dd1 feel left out or am I being too precious?!

I think it would be fine. I guess it would only be a problem if the godmother makes more of a fuss of 'her' two than DD1's godmother does of her. But that can be managed, I think...?

We have a couple who are godparents to all 3 and will be to our 4th child as well. They also have a couple and another person unique to them.
