Can I take Communion tonight?

I go to an Evanelgical Anglican church and for now go up for a blessing instead of taking communion. I was baptised years ago and have only recently come back to faith - can I take communion or will I need to have done something first? I know the kids have to have done lessons before they're allowed to . .

Sorry if this is a daft question Blush

I would have thought so - I also go to an evangelical anglican church and they usually say something like they welcome anyone (from any Christian denomination) who knows and loves the Lord Jesus to join in communion. Could you arrive early and have a quiet word with the vicar?

Thanks for the reply - I emailed the Vicar but she didnt' reply in time so I went up anyway, thinking I was doing it with the best of intentions and hoping that God would understand.

Spoke after and was all fine, esp as I am baptised anyway

Thanks again

Rebecca
