Suitable gift for First Holy Communion.

I am not Catholic so would appreciate some advice about what I should get as a gift for a nearly 8 yr old boy for his First Holy Communion.

Apologies if this sounds blunt, but money is a perfectly acceptable and common gift.

My DSs were given some 'horrible history' style bible stories which went down well.

Not so easy for a boy is it? Money will be fine- the parents/grandparents will probably be buying the rosary and bible, so a 'nice' card with a cheque or good hard currency :)
