Any depressed Christians out there?

I'm not sure if I am or not (depressed that is, I'm definitely a Christian). I'm beginning to think that the reason I am not sure if I'm depressed is becuase I have a strong faith. Or maybe I am just kidding myself. What do others think? I know this is a strange post!

No problem - glad you enjoyed the hug - and I will pray - Technology is a pain in the arse (can I say that on a "Christian Thread!!!?" ) Please pray for me too - I am just feeling .... flumpy today - Just a bit low and tired and stuff - Need to get myself in gear and feel a bit happier - Perhaps we could start a prayer request type thread!!? That would be cool!!!

Certainly CaptainD Consider it done! I'm having a bit of trouble today too. Went to a group this morning but left early. The conversation got a bit heavy and someone started crying, so what did I do? leave the room. Pathetic eh? But I just couldn't cope with it today.

Thank you - and no, you are not pathetic for leaving the group - I sometimes can't cope with "heaviness" too - It is scarey and I think we should just all chill out and just have a little joy in our lives and be thankful and greatful and happy that we have a wonderful big God who loves us!!! (Still feeling flumpy though, despite having just said all that!!)

PS Had good busy afternoon. It's definitely true that you enjoy things when you make the effort to go out and do them, even if the thought of it beforehand seems too much. Now just got to make some sense of the mess in the house and get my two in the bath and into bed - before collapsing myself!

Hi!! I have finally set up the MN Christian Payer Request thread - I hope that this facility will be a real outlet for people and that we will see lots and lots of answered prayers!!
