On Sunday, during Mass, I prayed to God to take my back pain away. My pain did go away and hasn't been back Hmm Is this just coincidence?

I don't think so. Some will think it is. What do you think?

Don't know really. Seems a bit strange for me. It normally takes about two weeks of doing all kinds of things to help it when I get a flare up. I had terrible lumbar pain, but it's gone now.

Just say thanks! I believe that God is the same as always and hears us when we ask.

Yup, I reckon saying thank you is a good idea!

Angelswings · 13/12/2011 23:40

Thank you sounds a suitable response :)

Sounds like God to me. Sometimes he does just heal, just like that.

And sometimes not.

Best not to ask why too much - enjoy your freedom from pain Xmas Smile

I've just finished an Alpha course and one of the recent talks was about healing. Two of us had prayers for healing afterwards; me (a believer desperate to experience healing first hand) for tendonitis in my shoulder and a (sceptical) chap for very long term and constant back pain.

Only one of us experienced healing that night and let's just say I'm still taking my anti-inflamatories and paracetamol.

I'm sure it happened for my friend because he needed convincing that it could happen. He still kept saying over the next week that maybe it was the physio, but he's been having treatment for years and he's never been pain-free for this long before.

There's only one explanation as far as I'm concerned Smile
