Spiritualist Church

I am thinking of going to a local spiritualist church, but I have never been before.

They have a formal service on a sunday, and in the week they hold a 'clairvoyance' evening and a 'spiritual healing' evening.

I am interested in attending the weekday events but not the sunday service, and I dont really know what to expect.

Would it be presumptious to look for spiritual healing when I have never attended a formal service do you think?

What spiritual background do you have? Are you Christian?

I ofen go to the Spiritualist Church and I find them to be very friendly and helpful.

the services open with prayers, they do the demonstration of mediumship. It varies from Church to church. I don't go regularly or even to the same Church but have always been welcomed.

Hope this helps

Hi and thanks for your replies.

I try to live a Christian life, I was christened Methodist but I have not gone to church regularly since I was a child.

Not sure what I am looking for but I have an urge to go along and see what happens :)

I would like to try the healing but dont know what is involved and what to expect. Has anyone any experience of such a thing?
