A very DF has just had a DS. She is a progressive/ reform Jew and, although her DH is not Jewish, her faith and traditions are very important to her.
She is a very special friend, and due to age and medical issues, this will almost certainly be their only DC. Therefore, me and my DDs (who are her honouree God daughters, same God, but only the first half of the bible, is how they always explain it) would like to know if there is a special blessing or present that would be appropriate.
