book (more of a practical workbook) on buddhism for kids?

dd (10) very attracted to buddhism and wants to know more about it (wants to know everything about everything type of personality). She is a Catholic so it is not about dropping that andbecoming a buddhist but she wants to know more than who was Buddha etc

Is there a nice workbook with practical side to it (implementing loving-kindness, meditation etc) presented in a way that is approachable for dc that you can recommend? I would say she is a very mature reader so it doesn't need to be age appropriate particularly but not entirely theoretical either

Tall order. I will hunt about a bit but in case anyone knows of buddhist workbooks for dc ... (We are overseas no big buddhist set-up here)

I've googled Buddhism for kids and have found this:

Lots of other worksheets etc came up with the Google search.

Manchester Buddhist Centre have this website which has lots of multi media stuff especially for kids/ teenagers. (Looks great IMO!)

To learn about meditation in a secular way - its worth having a look at the "getsomeheadspace" website. Lots of great animation - set up by a former Buddhist monk. Really good. You can do an online course: 10 mins/day to get you started. Suggest you look at it beforehand just to give ith the ok. I've been doing this course for the past few weeks and it's really helped get my meditation on track. I love it.

Anyway those are my suggestions, I'm sure others can help
