does anyone go to church when its "closed".....

I sometimes feel the need to go when there is just me there for some time on my own with my thought and prayers. I was thinking of asking the priest if I go go for some time outside of service etc.

do they lock your church outside of services?

If not then just go - I think empty churches are lovely places to be.

I imagine the priest would give you the key if you asked.

most churches are always open within reason i think
