My sister came over last night for dinner and we got round to the subject of "strange happenings". She told me that 2 days after our mum died, my sister woke up feeling that someone had kissed her on the cheek. She said it was very real but not her then b/f who was asleep.

In addition, she said that a few weeks after our dad died she dreamed that she was asleep and very hot and couldnt breathe. In her dream she sent me to fetch dad who handed me a piece of paper which I had to give to Susie. She opened the paper and on it was a prayer, she read the prayer and woke up ... gasping for air. She does sleep with the duvet over her head and wonders whether she was in fact suffocating but dad helped her wake up?

or had she had too much red wine last night?

Goodness don´t you want anyone else´s opinion! Well if any other MNetters have some thoughts and read this I hope you don´t mind SC if they contribute too

Your sister may well have had too much wine and got stuck under the duvet. Although from what I know, usually when you are stuck under a duvet you would have constricting dreams than the one she had about your dad.

Does she remember the prayer? Or the gist behind the prayer. He could have either been sending a message in some shape or form, like guidance or resolution of a past issue there may have been in the family or with you directly.

Her other dream of the kiss - well that is beautiful and I hope she gained comfort from Mums kiss. My Granny put her hand on my shoulder when I was in Church for Mothers Day not long after she died. I felt her walk past. It was really special for me because I had been holding her hand when she died and had helped her begin her walk upon the path of the spirit worlds.

Perhaps your sister is able to connect with your parents, unconsciously or not on a spirit level. If you have questions perhaps write them down and put them under you pillow - or hers and see what happens! Just thoughts.
