No, it was all rubbish. She told me I was living with my bf and I had a little girl Hmm

I was, in fact, recently widowed and childless Hmm

She did tell me I had a bad leg, but that was probably due to me limping!

She then went on to tell me I'd meet someone through an educational establishment and have a little girl.

I didn't Hmm

I met dh through internet dating and have two boys Grin

The woman was an idiot and it's a load of rubbish. These people are just well versed in reading people, but she failed miserably with me Grin

Years ago she said I would have a June baby (and I did) and that I would move to a house with a lot of wood (and it did) - every room had stripped floor boards.

Not sure I'd go again. I do believe that people can talk to spirits, but I think I'm in the minority and slightly naive.

I think there is a difference here between a 'fortune teller' and an actual psychic medium.

Sometimes it can depend on why you are visitng one. For example 'What is going to happen in my love life?' Well, anyone can tell you what they might or might not see/here etc from the other side, or even from the tarot cards etc. But, ultimately your future happens based on your choices, so if they tell you - yes I see a man/woman ehatever and a, b, and c will happen - then that is only what they can see 'might' happen. There are so many choices in your life that if you take a different route/decision one day, then your future could potentially change. I don't think anything is set in stone.

You may wish to see if you can receive a message from someone who has passed over. This IMO is different from being told your 'future'. If you received a message from someone and could validate it, then this could be comforting?

I have seen several psychics in my time, and some things have rung true, some have not. I wasn't visiting to get any vital life making decision help, just to see what they could see and if there was any truth in any of it. Some things have amazed me, and I know that there is no way specifics could have been made up - they relate directly to me. I have also received messages from loved ones who have passed on via mediums.

People who are psychic/mediums etc can receive their information in varying forms. They may try to interpret what they are seeing/hearing and convey this to the recipient. Sometimes it gets lost in translation.

Sometimes to find an answer all you have to do is look deep inside yourself, no fortune teller can tell you what's going in there.

I saw a lady who was a spiritualist and also used the tarot cards as her 'tool'
she told me that spirit know that i would make a wonderful teacher of young children and want me to pursue it as i have lost my way.

she also said that as i am always thinking of what i should do but never having the courage to do it i should do it this year as this is the last year i will have the freedom to do so !
i am wondering what she meant by that , if it could be true but whether or not it has given me a kick up the backside and i have just booked my first ever driving lesson after bottling out several times before !!!

Yes a week ago and she was fantastic, would go again. I am a believer in life after death anyway have seen too many weird things not too.

Not been before but needed to take my mum as she not coping well with the death of my dad. As a suspected it has given her a immense sense of peace, and reassurance that my dad is still with her and now not in pain and happy.

Was in there an hour and was money well spent, feel lucky to have found someone genuine as a lot are not.

Yes i used to go to a brilliant one before she moved away. she told me all sorts of things that no-one could have ever known. She apparently had my dead nan sitting next to her which i did believe due to all the things she was saying. she told me i would leave where i was working in six months and end up working for myself..i did not believe this tho as i was very happy but yes 6 months later i walked out as things got really bad and i've never looked back.
however i do believe that there are people who DON'T have the gift who give false readings or sometimes the people that do have the gift sometimes just have a bad day and don't do a proper reading. You should always go to someone who has been recommended.

Msklo I wish I could...she moved away a few years ago and i've lost contact. I'd love to have another reading with her but i can't even look her up on FB as i only know her as Lyn :( I live in essex and i have been recommended to someone else so fingers crossed shes a good one. Sorry i couldn't help you
