Gift Idea for Pagan Colleague

Hi

One of my work colleagues's father is about to go into hospital for a serious op - she and her family are Pagans and I would lke to give her a little gift to just sort of say that I am thinking of her etc etc, can anyone suggest something from her religion that would be appropriate ? I'm really unsure of what has special meanings etc and I wold be upset to buy the wrong thing and offend, so any ideas would be gratefully acccepted. thanks x

I think a living thing such as a plant would be appropriate or a rose bush. Rose bushes make good gifts as you can match the name to the recipient.

I second the plant suggestion.

Alternatively (or in addition) you could get her a healing tea which has Hyssop & Lemon Verbana, or Lemon Balm. Since she is a Pagan, she will recognise the healing/cleansing properties of these herbs.

I also strongly recommend healing crystals; a clear quartz crystal, as well as an Amethyst crystal. I am sure she knows how to cleanse and programme them.

I'm a pagan and tbh I don't think you could offend me with any gift!

It's such a thoughtful thing for you to do.

The suggestion of a nicely wrapped herb plant is a v good one. I have given rosemary wrapped in brown paper and jute string which has gone down well instead of flowers.

I means rememberance though, so maybe a bit tactless. Lemon balm ^^ a good shout.

How thoughtful of you and how open-minded and open hearted you are.
I as a Pagan love plants, maybe a pot of Spring Flowers that can be planted in the garden after flowering.
I love scented candles and incense so that's another suggestion.

Was also going to suggest candles, or oils for calming and soothing massage
