Christening//Confirmation Present

Any ideas for a present for 11 year old boy who is going to be christened and confirmed next week.

Any ideas greatly appreciated :)

Is anyone getting him a bible?

I know it sounds obvious, but a lot of people wouldn't think about it.

I would get him a Good News Bible - it's a brilliant, easy to read translation, and it's the one I was given when I was confirmed at 12.
I still use it now, all the time, in preference to any other translation.

The Toybox charity does some lovely and unusual gifts. How about one of these:

My 11y/o ds has this and he likes it. It is the whole bible written as a graphic novel.
