Hi We are getting our DD (almost 3) baptised question is does she have to wear white?? nota great time of year and i would rather not have to buy a bridesmaid typw dress as she will never wear it again and also cost! Thinking could you wear pastel colours?? Thanks in advance!

She can wear anything she/you likes. There's no rule that she has to wear white. Get her something she'll love and get wear out of.
Hope it goes well, all the best :)

I'd second that! Both DS2 and 3 were baptised at about 16 months old and they had trousers / shirt / waistcoat. Admittedly the waistcoat didn't get much wear but the shirt and trousers did!

Hope you have a good day :)

Ask the minister/vicar/priest who is going to baptise her.
White is the symbolic colour for baptism and you could die it pink - or any colour you like - afterwards if you buy the right fabric.
