How many of you say prayers with your children every day?

I always have with ds1 and ds2, but I wonder how usual this is. We always said prayers at bedtime when I was little, and I like the closeness and routine!

How normal are we? Do you say prayers? Did you when you were little?

Hi,
When I was younger mum would have me say a prayer at the bottom of my bed before sleeping. We also said a prayer before and after the main meal.

Now as a Muslim, I pray five times a day and pray for everyone, family, friends, mankind etc..
The feeling of sitting on the prayer rug for 5 minutes after the actual prayer with hands raised praying for oneself and others is one of the most relaxing parts of my day.

Hope i've not gone on

I say prayers with my dd everynight - it gave me a sense of security when I was a child and I wish the same for her. She can make her own mind up when she gets older

We pray with the kids everyday. Meal times and bed times especially. Since seeing another child do it, dd has wanted to say her own prayers and ds tries to join in too.

Every Bed time with both Dd and Ds. Also quite often as we walk to school in the morning. Also before meals. We are christians and believe very strongly that prayer is an important conversation to have every day with our heavenly Father.

We say prayers every night, not formal ones. We talk about what has been good that day that we would like to thank Jesus for, the people we have been worried about and would like to ask Mary to look after and things we would like to say sorry for.

We do! We say prayers at night.
