Where do I get nice Rosary beads for ds1(6)

Do I ask the priest ? Do I ask the head mistress, who is lovely ? do they need to be blessed by the priest ?

ds1 is very keen. wants to go to all the rosary prayers, every morning, last month or so. he was given some beads to use. as i was lookign around some people had lovely ones. maybe wooden ? different colours, in repeat, like 7 one red, one blue, one green, one wooden.

i looked on e-bay but they looked a bit cheap and nasty.

it's the prayers that matter, the beads are just to help you keep track of them and where you are.

You could just dip them in the fount too I suppose if you didn't want to ask the priest to bless them

by the way, i wonder if you could help me. being a non catholic, a pentecostal christian, i don't know the prayers. i don't know what the different parts of the rosary actually means.

could you please point me int he direction of a website, to give me some pointers.
i love going to mass. ds loves it totally. i even went on the introduction course, but they never covered things like this.
so when ds1 asks me about rosary prayers and beads, i can't answer his questions.

How to pray the rosary

champagne. oh i am sorry, i do know the bit about when to say the 3 hail mary's and when to say the 10 hail marys'. its just i can't work out where my fingers are supposed to be at the appropriate times. or when / why do you move your finger onto the next bead.

The beads are to help you keep count. I tend to move across at the end of each prayer - so with the Amen.
