Our 14 year old Spaniel / Retriever Cross has just developed really smelly wind. Its so bad you now cannot stay in the same room as him. Its happened day after day for the last couple of weeks.

Help....

We used to give ours charcoal biscuits.

Have you changed his food recently, smelly wind can be a result of food intolerance....we know from experience! We had to change food brands with our choccie lab, and then she became sweet smelling again, not so much of the rotten turnips!

Our Patterdale terrier gets this, but she's had dodgy guts, since we've had her (rescue dog, with colitis). I've found half a digestive biscuit helps. I don't think giving human treats to dogs is a good idea, but this seems to help.
