We've chosen a puppy! We need a name and a shopping list!

We have got a Cav KC springer little boy ...he's blenheim coloured and 7.5 weeks old, KC registered and sooo cute! Going to pick him up on Thursday morning.

Shopping list:
Puppy care book
Cage - What size do I get?? Don't want to buy a puppy one then replace as soon as he gets bigger but do we need a large one?
Bed - any recommendations?
Food bowls
Collar & lead - best to get a cat one to start him off?

Names .... bit stuck! Thinking so far
Marlon (although dh has vetoed)
Bob
Leonard - Lennie for short

All suggestions welcomed. And advice.

Training treats
Stack of very old towels/cloth and some suitable spray for cleaning up 'accidents'
Food - you need to find out what he is being fed on now and keep him on it or change him very gradually, over 3 weeks or so
Soft brush
Clicker (if you want to clicker train)

I wouldn't bother with a bed yet it will just be eaten, a crate is all he needs, ask the breeder what size is suitable. You need a size that is big enough for an adult to stand up turn around and stretch. Inside the crate old towel are great as they are absorbent and so easy to throw in the wash.
