My guinea pig is on the way out :(

DS1 went to go feed her and she was lying in her cage twitching. I've moved her into my room out the DC way, she is on the cats bed, still twitching and breathing very slowly I'm checking on her every 10 minutes or so, I just don't want the DC aroun her and can't be with her all the time.

She is an old lady of 6, and I think she has had a lovely little life, quite long for guinea pig. She was at the vets only the other week for a dodgy knee and he'd commented on how skinny she had gotten

I had to have our rabbit put to sleep on Sunday.
Our Guinea pig is 5.

oh the poor love - is she a singular piggy or do you have others? I dread this day - ours are only 3 though. Hope she passes peacefully

She is a singular piggy. We got her three years ago when a friend wanted her babysat while they went on holiday and she never went back as my boys loved her too much.

DS1 is upset, he thought it was his fault because he forgot to feed her this morning before school.

No idea what to do with her little body though as we have no garden.

Oh i domt kow - can you rest her at a relatives garden so you can visit? Hope your ds takes it ok. {smile]

I think Dh is going to take her to MIL's tomorrow. She is in a little box in her cage now

DS1 should be fine (I hope)
