will they be ok for 6 hours?

i have to go to the hospital tomorrow morning for an all day appointment with dd4 (they are testing her with egg).

my pups will be alone from 8.30 am till 2.30 when dh comes home from work.

The longest i have left them is 2 hours.

am a bit worried.

they are usually good boys and no hassle, but have visions of them crossing their legs in their crates.

am trying to see if my dad can pop in about 11 to let them run around and feed/water them.

it would be good if your dad could pop i midway to let them toilet. what age are they?

could you take them for a long walk before hand so they will sleep, although i cant imagine teh will sleep for 6 hours and wil probably want to wee when they wake up.

cold your dad have them at his or even stay at yours with them?

they are only 9-10 weeks old and not fully vax yet so cant take them for walks.

going to see if my dad/sister can pop in for a bit.

normally dh only works til 12, so would feel ok about leaving them.

at 9-10 weeks they might sleep for a good portion of it anway but they will want to wee when they wake. i know you are leaving early and have dcs but could you tire them out in the house before you go? are you currently doing any training with them taht you could do to exhaust them?

no-one i;d trust iyswim.

we get up early at 5.30 and start the day then. then once dd's are breakfasted by 7, they start playing and training. they go back in the crates at 8.30 when we leave.
