We have a beautfiul collieXkelpie who we got from a rescue centre last summer, I love having a dog and it's been much easier than I anticipated. Penny loves other dogs and gets along brilliantly with pil puppies, she is approx 1 year 2-4 months, when is a good time?

We want another rescue, and ideally another collie, collieX possibly a spaniel of some sort. Are there any places that rehome nationally? We only have one rescue centre locally that will rehome to homes with children. TIA

One one hand, whenever you feel able to cope with another, if your current girl has sufficently matured and is fairly easy, then a new addition will be great fun.

The only thing to consider is that if you have two very close in age then you are going to have two old dogs in the future, and may face losing them around the same time which would be very hard.

This isn't so hard if you plan on adding to your pack in 5-6 years, which would probably be a good spacing to perk up the two you have (or will have).
