Lost Pussy Cat

My beloved ginger tom has disappeared!

He normally spends his time lounging in front of the house but has been missing for 2 full days. Everyone in the street knows he belongs to us and he is chipped but does not wear a collar.

What is the best thing to do in terms of searching for him or putting poster etc up?

All advice gratefully received.

Posters - in vets, local shops, pet shops, outside sweet shops and outside local schools, as kids are likely to notice a ginger cat and be surprisingly enthusiastic about keeping an eye out. Bus stops, in fact anywhere where there is a high rate of passing pedestrians is a good start. Put your own phone number on the poster and that of your vet.

Run off some flyers to put through doors locally and ask people to check sheds etc.

Post on Facebook and similar and ask readers to share it.

Do you have a town/village website you can post on or ask admin to put a message on? A local rescue with a website and/or forum? Even if its not a cat rescue people will be happy to put the word out for you if they're rescue-minded.

I hope you find him.
