No garden plus dead pets

Was wondering what those of you with no garden do when your pets die?

I ask as another of our pet rats died the other day, and we've had to wait till MIL can get here so he can be buried in her garden.

You can call your local vet and ask them to take the body for you and send it for cremation. There will likely be a fee but not usually that much, especially for a small pet like a rat.
