toilet trouble with my cat

I have 5 cats: 1 is 3 yrs old and an RSPCA rescue. we got her when she was 6 months old has has been a dream cat ever since. Just before we went on holiday, we got the case out of the loft and she promptly spryed over it. I thought that only boys did that. Does anyone have any ideas as to why she may have done that? She doesn't seem to have done it since.
cat 2 is mummy to cats 3 and 4 (same litter and 15 months old) and cat 5 (now 11 months old)

Cats 2, 3 and 4 are lovely.

Cat 5 has started (after months of being clean) to go to the toilet in the house in randon and different places. Today he came in from the garden and went under my husbands desk where he did a poo and a wee. Yestday he did a week in the bucket in the utility room. Last night he did a wee in my bedroom. We have 2 cat flaps in the house ans if we are home, the doors and windows are left open for the cats to come and go. Does anyone have any ideas on what may be causing this? If it doesn't get better, he will have to be rehomed which would devastate my boys. I just can't have a cat using the whole house as his toilet it isn't fair on anyone

have you tried a feliway diffuser? Is meant to calm cats down - we had issues with cat no 2 spraying and weeing in the house when cat no 3 arrived. The diffuser did stop the spraying and weeing but didn't make the cats friends with each other, unfortunately! You can get it from the vet.
