LURCHER MISSING, RISBOROUGH

Lucy the Lurcher has gone missing from the flyball tournament held at Hearing Dogs Centre in Risborough. It is not confirmed, but she may well have been stolen. There were some unwanted types hanging around.

Lucy is black with a little tan & white. She is speyed and chipped, and was wearing a pink diamante collar with tag.

There is a considerable cash reward for her return. Make her too hot to handle by spreading the word on dog forums, facebook etc etc.

I was just at my Vets Valhalla and saw that notice up on the board. Didnt make it to HD at the weekend but it is a beautiful dog. Will keep my eyes and ears open for any news.

I presume that you're local to the area and if so I think it would be a tremendous help to have as many people like yourself aware of Lucy as possible. One of the most important and successful tactics in finding a stolen dog is to make her "too hot to handle", and so maximum publicity is imperative.

Valhalla is it worth sticking ads up on Gumtree? Lots of horribly dodgy buying and selling of dogs on there (www.gumtree.com)

I am local Val - and will post on my FB too. It does bother me hugely, HD is a secure site, cameras etc too, so hopefully any dodgy folk would have been caught on camera.

Actually just off to alert my neighbour, she is better than facebook! I promise. If I hear anything I will let you know.
