He is beautiful. Mainly black with a lovely thick coat but doesn't molt much. He is 5 years old and has been neutered. He hasn't had any health problems at all. We live in Sutton, Surrey. Anyone want him?

Is he good with children? Is he an indoor or outdoor cat?

Jux · 29/05/2010 12:19

Can't you get him a cat passport etc and take him with you?

febes · 29/05/2010 12:29

He is great with kids as I have a 1 yo DS and 2.5 yo DD. He has a cat door so comes and goes as he pleases. He sleeps indoors and explores outside .

I'm going to NZ so feel it would be a heck of a journey for the cat and expensive. I had a friend who was going to have him but she has an elderly sick cat so we didn't think it would be fair to both cats to live together.

He sounds lovely. My sons are 4 and 2 and I've been looking into cats, but wanted to get one already used to children and busy homes. I think you're only 30 miles or so from me? I'm by J.1 of the M25?

Would you be looking for anything for him, or want to meet the family/home first? Also, when are you leaving?

He's free to a good home. I just want to know he is looked after as he is a lovely boy. We are moving in just over a month from the house we are in now and going to rent for a few months before leaving the country in October. I would prefer he is rehomed before we move though so he doesn't have to move twice IYKWIM.

He has moved house we us 2 years ago and we kept him inside for a day so he got used to his new home before we let him outside and he was fine. I'll post a photo of him on my profile (if I can!!)

Just put some photos of him on my profile. He is even more handsome in RL.

I think we might be interested. We're in Wimbledon and have DSs who are 1 & 5. Have been thinking for a while about getting a cat but was nervous about taking one on with children and cats from shelters are very rarely recommended for homes with children.

We are going on holiday for a week from 9th to 16th July though. Is that before or after you move?

TheHouseofMirth · 29/05/2010 15:28

He is lovely! What is his name?

smokinaces · 29/05/2010 15:31

Febes, please consider us for him - the picture of him with your daughter leaning on him has sold him to me, he is gorgeous (just like my cat when growing up) and would suit this house and family perfectly. My sons are away for a week w/c 7th June so I could come get him them to get him settled before they return?

I cant work out how to message you through your profile to your email address?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 29/05/2010 15:35

He looks lovely.

smokinaces · 29/05/2010 15:43

Febes, I have the email [email protected] if you want to email me. Am happy to answer any questions about our home/life/kids for your peace of mind!

febes · 29/05/2010 22:44

Febes if things don't work out with smokin then please CAT me (though I hope for her sake they do!)

Jux · 30/05/2010 14:27

He is gorgeous. I do hope things work out and you find a fantastic new home for him. Good luck all of you.

I'd love to have him myself, but my male tabby would go demented.
