for me to get another rat to be company for poor Boris who is hale and hearty but seems a bit down. She's used to being one of a group.

Would it help or make things worse? Would they just try to kill each other.

Advice needed please.

Hi, you should really get another two rats to keep boris company. IF you only get one, then when Boris dies the new one will be left alone.

Always keep at least three of any group animal ime.

I'd be happy to do that. She was one of 3 originally.
