Please can someone advise me as to which kitten food Is best.I am suprised that it is costing me around £13 approx per week to feed two seven month old cats.Is this a reasonable amount? They have once pouch of wet food a day and I have science plan dry food for them down all day. They are of course very much worth the expense but I am worried about the recession and the rising prices of everything!

We have two adorable tabbie/bengal x cats who are just over a year and we always gave only dry food (whiskers kitten or go cat kitten), along with the odd pouch as a treat now and again. Our vet said there's no need to give wet food every day as it's bad for the teeth, although other vets say it's not good for them to only have dry food as it can give them kidney infections.
Our cats have always been fine with mostly only dry food and now are on go cat adult, which they love. A 950g box is about £2.98 and lasts two adult cats over a week.
You don't need to leave food down all day - just give them a small meal morning and night.

Your cats sound beautiful, what a lovely mix.Could you post some pictures of them?
Wow I think I will give Go cat a go at that price!I have been buying scienceplan because the lady in the pet shop said I should buy a good quality cat food to save on vets bills later on but I am wondering if she was just trying to get me to spend more than I needed to.They have very shiney coats at the moment and I wouldn't want them to lose the gloss but I do need to make some savings.I am really struggling with food and petrol prices at the moment!

I feed my pup Science lan but admit I've only ever fed my cats (and I've had loads over the years) Felix.Whiskas etc. A mixture of wet and dried. The cats also eat the dog food given half the chance
